Please don't expect this post to be coherent
Here we are, ready to head over to Tara's. I am present, I'm just taking the picture!
Thanksgiving dinner was great. Our family, Tara's family, Ben's family and Tai and Tina were able to come. The food was awesome, especially Darren's butter soaked turkey. It's true--everything's better with more butter. Kate's rolls were so delicious. I told Megan they tasted like they were made with unicorn tears and the nectar of happiness. Incredible!
The only sour note was my stuffing. It was a recipe that was supposed to be put in the turkey, but because I know some people don't like that, I cooked it separately. The biggest problem with it was that the apples didn't cook. People kept commenting that it was so "fresh." That's probably to be expected any time you have raw crispy apples in a stuffing (made with sausage and cornbread, no less--gag!)
The prize for cutest Thanksgiving outfit goes to my baby. I am having way too much fun dressing this one.
After dinner we headed home, and I met Michelle at Toys R Us for some Black Friday shopping. I was #427 in the line, and the fact that I even know that tells you something. We finished up at Target and ended out being up until 4 a.m. It was crazy, but we saved a ton of money and had so much fun!
Now, if I could just get some sleep. I'm ready for some delirious Christmas decorating!
