Darren downloaded a program yesterday that accesses our accounts and lets us know what we have been spending on a monthly basis on items such as clothes, groceries and restaurants. Let's just say that the amount spent on clothes was, ahem, surprising (also the amount spent on almost anything, but this blog post isn't about all of my failings!!) It was at least twice what I thought it would be. Luckily for me, Darren doesn't even care. He just laughed about it.
But, I decided to really cut back on my clothes shopping, that I don't have to buy everything that is cute and a decent price, etc., etc.
Then, I took the girls to Cheesecake Factory last night and then to the mall to return three items recently purchased that didn't fit right.
And here, people, in living color, is photographic evidence that I have absolutely no willpower whatsoever. I couldn't even make it 24 hours. I walked past the Janie and Jack store and done. Is this not the cutest thing ever? And, it wasn't even a decent price.
Why is this outfit cuter because her thighs are chubby?
The only thing I can say in my defense is that it will at least get a lot of use. Addison likes to wear her "swimsoups" on a daily basis. "I go to beach, Mama. Put on a swimsoup."
If you regularly read this blog (Mom and Megan, I'm talking to you,) I had intended to catch up on all I've missed in the past month or so. Unfortunately, that feels like such a huge undertaking, that I just keep not blogging because I can't bear the thought of going back and trying to document all of that.
So, if you're interested you can keep checking back to see if I've added new blog entries, but it may never be caught up in entirety. Sorry.
